Fall Decorations for the Home I Can’t Stop Saving This Season
Fall is easily one of my favorite seasons to decorate for. There’s just something about adding warmer colors, different textures, and a few seasonal touches that makes home feel extra inviting. Lately, I’ve been saving so many fall decorations for the home that I want to use this season.
I’m not someone who wants pumpkins covering every corner or everything to match perfectly. I love finding pieces that work with what I already have while adding a little bit of fall throughout the house.
So, I’m sharing some of my favorite finds and ideas I’ve been saving lately. Hopefully, you find a few things you love too!

How to Choose Fall Decorations for the Home That Work Together
When choosing fall decorations for the home, I like to start with a simple color palette so everything feels like it belongs together. You definitely don’t need every piece to match! Try mixing warm neutrals with a few fall colors you love, then bring in different textures like wood, woven baskets, soft blankets, and seasonal greenery. It makes everything feel pulled together without looking too planned.
Start With the Colors Already in Your Home
Choose fall decor that works with those shades you already have instead of trying to change everything for the season. Even adding one or two warmer colors can give your space that fall feeling without overdoing it.
Choose Two or Three Fall Accent Colors
Pick two or three fall colors that work well with the colors already in your home. Think muted rust, olive green, warm brown, or even a soft mustard. Keeping your accent colors limited helps everything flow together without feeling too matchy.
Fall Decorations for the Home That Add Warmth and Texture
This is where fall decorating gets fun! Adding texture can make such a big difference without having to fill your home with pumpkins. Think chunky throws, woven baskets, warm wood, linen pillows, and a little aged brass. Mixing a few of these together instantly makes a room feel warmer and so ready for fall.
Below are a few of my favorite throw pillows and blankets for fall!
The Fall Decor Finds I Can't Stop Saving
Okay, now for the fun part—the fall finds! Lately, I’ve been saving so many pieces that add warmth without screaming fall. Instead of going overboard with seasonal decor, I love mixing in pretty textures, warm wood tones, aged brass, and just a few fall touches. Plus, a lot of these pieces can stay out well beyond the season, so you’re not putting everything away the second fall is over.
Small Fall Decorations for the Home That Make a Big Difference
Sometimes, what makes my home feel the most like fall is actually the smallest switches. It could be lighting a fall candle, swapping out my everyday kitchen towels for something warmer, or bringing in a few natural elements like branches or pinecones.
Fall Mantel Decor Finds I’m Loving and How to Create One
Your mantel is such an easy spot to switch up for fall, and you really don’t need a ton of decor to make it feel seasonal. Start with a pretty garland and then mixing in a few pieces with different heights, textures, and warmer tones.
Start With a Garland
A good garland can do most of the work for you. I’d look for something slightly loose and natural rather than perfectly shaped. You can drape it across the entire mantel or let one side fall a little lower for a more relaxed look.
Add Fall Mantle Decor
Once the garland is in place, this is where I like to have a little fun with the smaller details. From there, I’ll layer in a few of my favorite finds, like brass candlesticks, a small pumpkin, or a piece of art leaned against the wall. However, I try not to add too much—the garland already brings in plenty of texture, so just a few simple pieces can finish everything off without making the mantel feel crowded.
Timeless Furniture Pieces That Make Fall Decorating Easy
I’ve realized that fall decorating is so much easier when you already have a few timeless furniture pieces to work with. A warm wood coffee table, neutral sofa, or simple accent chair gives you a great base, and from there, you can switch up the smaller details as the seasons change. Plus, you don’t have to buy new furniture every fall—just add a throw, a few pillows, or some seasonal decor, and suddenly the whole room feels different.
Fall Lighting Finds That Make Your Home Feel Warmer
Lighting is one of those things I don’t think about much until fall rolls around and suddenly I want every lamp in the house turned on! Don’t feel you need to go out and buy anything, but instead you can invest in some fake candles, or fairy lights or even wall mounted scone lights. Instead of relying on bright overhead lights, I love adding softer lighting with table lamps, floor lamps, and candles. Plus, a warm glow makes all those fall colors and textures feel even better—especially once it starts getting dark earlier
Fall Dining Table and Centerpiece Finds
I love decorating our dining table for fall because there are so many different colors and styles you can play around with! I usually stick with a neutral palette and then add a pop of olive green or muted red for some fall color. From there, I’ll layer in a table runner, placemats, and whatever dishes I’m loving that year. And I have to admit, I love a dramatic centerpiece! So, I’ll usually bring in a pretty garland with taper candles to make the whole table feel complete.
Fall Kitchen Finds I'm Loving Right Now
Ahhh, the kitchen. It is one of my favorite places to add those little fall touches because they can be pretty and useful! For example, I’m loving warm wood cutting boards, cozy kitchen towels, amber glass soap bottles, pretty mugs, and small stoneware bowls for the season. Plus, a fall candle on the counter and a simple vase filled with branches can add that extra bit of warmth.

Fall Bedroom and Bedding Finds
I swear, changing just a few things in the bedroom makes it instantly feel like fall. Instead of buying all new bedding, I love adding a soft throw, a couple of warmer-toned pillows, or even switching out the sheets. Then, I’ll turn on a little bedside lamp, and the whole room just feels warmer and more inviting. Fall Bedroom Decor has more inspiration and styling tips to make your bedroom cozier this season!
Add Fall Color Through Your Bedding
Bedding is probably my favorite way to bring fall color into a bedroom because it’s so easy to switch out. For example, I love adding a muted rust or warm brown pillow against neutral bedding, then tossing a textured throw at the end of the bed. It’s such a small change, but it instantly makes the room feel more like fall.
Fall Decorations for the Home That Don't Feel Too Seasonal
I love decorating for fall, but I also don’t want to pack up half my house once the season is over! Instead, I look for fall decorations for the home that bring in that warm, fall feeling without being overly seasonal. Think warm wood tones, textured pillows, woven baskets, aged brass, and earthy colors. Plus, most of these pieces can stay out year-round, which makes them even more worth it to me.
Create a Fall Feel with Faux Flowers and Stems
Faux flowers and stems are an easy way to bring fall color into your home without adding too much seasonal decor. I love warmer shades like rust, deep red, olive green, and soft brown. Add a few to a pretty vase for a simple touch of fall.
How to Make Faux Stems Look More Natural
Don’t make them too perfect! To begin, bend the stems and vary the heights. To finish, let the branches fall in different directions. I also think fewer stems in a larger vase can look much more natural than an arrangement that’s packed too full. Play around with it and see what you like!
Fall Front Porch Decor Finds for a Warm Welcome
I love decorating our front porch for fall! This is my kids’ favorite part of decorating for fall! First, start with a pretty wreath, then add a few pumpkins, lanterns, and a cute doormat. I like to keep it simple and not cover every inch with decor. We try to leave breathin space so that we can comfortably go in and out.

Layer Your Fall Front Porch Decor
I love layering a few different pieces to make the porch feel more put together. Along with mixing pumpkins in different sizes try adding lanterns, a layered doormat, and a planter or two. Keeping the heights and textures different adds interest without making the porch feel too crowded.
Fall Wreaths I Am Loving This Year
I swear a pretty wreath is one of the easiest ways to make your home feel like fall. I love finding ones that have a little movement and texture to them instead of looking too perfect. Plus, they’re so easy to use—a wreath can completely change your front door, these are a few of the fall wreaths I can’t stop saving this year.
Cute Halloween Decor Finds for Kids
Having three boys makes Halloween decorating even more fun around here! I love finding cute little things they get excited about, like friendly ghosts, fun pillows, and a few not-too-scary decorations. Plus, letting them pick out a couple of their own favorites makes decorating for Halloween that much more fun.
Final Thoughts on Fall Decorations for the Home
I hope you found a few fall decorations for the home that you can’t stop thinking about either! Honestly, half the fun for me is finding those little pieces that make a room feel completely different without having to redo everything. Add a pretty pillow, switch out a few stems, light a candle, and call it fall! Just pick what you love, use what you already have, and have fun making your home feel like you.
